Victoria Daly Regional Council has adopted its 2026–27 Regional Plan at its June Ordinary Council Meeting, held on 30 June 2026. The Plan outlines Council’s priorities, services and key projects for the year ahead.
The Plan provides a roadmap for Council’s work over the coming financial year, reflecting Council’s ongoing commitment to delivering reliable local services, supporting community-led priorities and investing in stronger, more resilient communities across the Victoria Daly region.
Key projects and priorities for 2026–27 include:
- Flood recovery and resilience works in Nauiyu
- Water bubbler installation in Kalkarindji
- BBQ upgrade project in Bulla
- Waste management upgrades and landfill planning
- Street lighting improvements across communities (subject to grant funding)
- Expansion of aged care and community support services
The Regional Plan also outlines Council’s continued focus on strengthening infrastructure, supporting community wellbeing and delivering essential services across the region.
