The Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) is conducting the Milngin Ward by-election to fill a vacant councillor position on the Victoria Daly Regional Council.
Candidate nominations are now open for community members interested in representing their community.
To nominate, candidates must:
- be 18 years of age or older;
- be enrolled and have their principal residence within the Victoria Daly Regional Council local government area; and
- meet the eligibility requirements detailed on the nomination form.
Nomination forms can be downloaded here or obtained from your nearest Victoria Daly Regional Council office.

Nominations close at 12 noon on Friday 21 August. Late nominations will not be accepted.
