Waste Management

Through the Technical Operations Department, Council participated in the Big Rivers Regional Waste Management Working Group (BRRWMWG) alongside Roper Gulf Regional Council, West Daly Regional Council, VDRC and Katherine Town Council in partnership with the Department of Health. The BRRWMWG are collectively exploring and sharing a range of issues and obstacles that Regional Councils are tasked with when developing and maintaining landfills in communities.
