Caretaker – Timber Creek Police Museum
Timber Creek – Police Museum
About the Position
The Timber Creek Police Museum is on the hunt for a full-time caretaker, based in Timber Creek. Ideal for a single or couple travelling across the country and keen to put roots down (even just for a little while) to learn about a truly unique part of remote Australia.
While the position is unpaid, a space to park a caravan or camper trailer for free is available on site.
Nestled among the stunning escarpment ranges of Gregory National Park, the museum was first established in 1809, and is home to an impressive collection of police and local artefacts illustrating the rich and complicated history of the area.
