The Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) has advised that no nominations were received for the Victoria Daly Regional Council Milngin Ward by-election before nominations closed at 12 noon on 21 August 2026.
In accordance with Regulation 73 of the Local Government (Electoral) Regulations 2008, a new election date will be set to fill the vacancy.
No voting is required at this stage.
A new election timetable will be announced once confirmed by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission.
