About the Role
The Aged Care and NDIS Team Leader will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Aged Care and NDIS services in the community and surrounding ward. More specifically, your duties will include but not limited to; Training, mentoring and supporting staff members to ensure continuance of service at all times; Planning, implementing and coordinating the Aged Care and NDIS services in the community; Communicating appropriately with participants, carers and colleagues to ensure positive outcomes for the delivery of services according to the New Standards for Aged Care and NDIS.
The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent, and a First Aid Certificate with anaphylaxis training. You’ll have excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate, consult, network and partner with all levels of staff and stakeholders. You will have demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively within a team, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
