The Council each year prepares a Regional Plan that contains the matters set out in Section 22 of the Local Government Act. These include the strategic direction of Council, what services it intends to deliver and how, a financial plan for the current year and subsequent years, rates and charges, and key performance measures for judging performance.
The Regional Plan is broken down into an overarching Regional document, supported by five Community Plans, and Asset Management Plans.
The Annual Report is the document that details the performance of Council for that year as was indicated in the Regional Plan. It includes audited financial statements and key achievements against performance measures.
