About the Role

The Aged Care Team Leader will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Aged Care services in the community and surrounding ward. More specifically, your duties will include but not limited to; Training and mentoring staff members to ensure continuance of service at all times; Maintaining client files, care plans, assessment and reassessment of client’s needs and client service agreements; Liaising with the Aged Care and Disability Service Manager in regards to service delivery, administration, reporting and other queries.
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent, and a First Aid Certificate with anaphylaxis training. You’ll have excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate, consult, network and partner with all levels of staff and stakeholders. You will have demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively within a team, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
